Taramandal is a portable mini planetarium, with an inflatable dome and simple projection equipment, providing an opportunity to promote interactive learning of elementary astronomy. It has a seating capacity of about 30. Here exploring the night sky and understanding the celestial world of stars and planets and other astronomical objects that surround us are explained to curious visitors, who enter the ‘Dome’ by crouching through a passage.
