The centre plans and conducts several outreach programs on various scientific themes like environment, computer science, electronics and biotechnology. Teacher training programs, both syllabus oriented and activity oriented are also going on. Competitions for students and project oriented activities are regularly organized. Science Festivals, celebrations of National and International science days, seminars, workshops and conferences on specific themes are all well appreciated and attended by the stake holders.
